It's going to be tough to aquire a property with only $200 down. I like your drive though. Reminds me of myself 10 years ago. LOL. Really your only option is to try to aquire the land on land contract, but you will need cash or a mortgage to build the house. I would also say stay away from college unless you're doing something highly specialized. With your drive, I would start a business!

fact; while building a home will get you one exactly as you want it, you will have to pay between$35 and 135 a FOOT for labor and materials.fact as of 2008--you can buy for 1/2 the cost to build...........so, keep with the job search,and casually seek a decent house that is selling for 50% of what it was selling for 3 yrs ago.save your money. when you get rich, then start building a custom house.
